Experience
I am a tutor with extensive experience helping students. I specialize tutoring in the sciences. I'm able to help students in biology, microbiology, Earth science, life sciences, and ecology. I received a degree in Applied Forensic Science with a focus on Forensic Biology and Criminalistics at Mercyhurst University. I also minored in Biology and graduated as an honors student from university. I continued on with my education and received my master's in Leadership Public Administration. I am now certified to teach science in the state of New Jersey. During my time as an undergraduate student I was in charge of my school's department of tutoring, a position that required me to both tutor students and pair up students with other tutors in the program. I also worked with students throughout the community to prep them for tests and with their coursework. I know that each and everyone of my students can succeed, and I have high standards for each of them. I work to create strategies that will help my students, regardless of their learning style. When I'm not tutoring I love to dance and read. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
