Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education at a state college in Italy. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Italian at Montclair State University. I am currently a doctoral candidate at Rutgers State University for Italian Language and Literature. With over thirty years of experience in working with students of a variety of levels, I am very dedicated and knowledgeable. I have worked in academics and for corporations to teach ESL, Italian, Latin, and Spanish. I love each subject that I work with equally and would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. As a tutor, I teach to my students' abilities and needs. I believe that each of my students has the ability to learn and it is a matter of teaching the material in their style. I am interested in tutoring students in a variety of levels for Latin, Italian, and Spanish. I also have a solid musical background and studied Belo Canto in Sicily at the Bellini Music Conservatory. I have been an active member of my church choir for over twenty years. While I enjoy several genres of music, my favorites are classical and opera. During my free time I enjoy crafts, crocheting, and needlepoint.
